Coquito
Ingredients1 can coconut milk
1 can coconut cream 1 can condensed milk 2 tbs vanilla extract Fresh ginger 1/2 cup whole cloves Cinnamon sticks 1 bottle of white rum (Bacardi) Water |
MethodIn a small pan put 3 cups of water, whole cloves, cinnamon and ginger. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes, and then transfer a cup of the mixture to a blender.
Add coconut milk, coconut cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and 1½ cup of white rum to blender and mix well. Put mix in a bottle and refrigerate at least over night, until thickened. The longer you let it rest, the better it will taste. Original recipe courtesy Adreliz |
