Apple Pie with Crumble Topping

About 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced 1/3 cup flour 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp water Crumble Topping 1 cup flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter, chilled |
MethodPreheat oven to 400˚ F.
In a large bowl, combine apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and water. Stir to coat. Let sit. Meanwhile, make the crumble topping. In a medium bowl, cut the butter into the brown sugar and flour until it resembles small peas. Spoon apples into prepared pie crust. Cover with crumble topping. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until bubbling and brown. Let cool. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. |
